Please note: This news story may contain information that is no longer current or up to date.

A huge group of 425 Chinese delegates took part in this year's Nottingham College Summer School. The visitors were a mixture of students and their teachers from 10 universities across China.

The Summer School provides opportunities for the students to improve their English Language, exchange new teaching methods, learn about British culture, and visit tourist attractions in Nottingham and other cities. The group visited London, Birmingham, York, Cambridge, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford.

The programme is now in its 14th year and is the product of an ongoing partnership between the College and Chinese universities. The number of students attending increased significantly from last year, making for a highly successful and enjoyable experience for all involved.

The four-week programme ended earlier this month with a special closing ceremony, where the students had the opportunity to showcase their wider talents and demonstrate the skills they had learned.
