Still thinking about starting a college course this year? Don’t let the fact you haven’t applied yet stop you! Here’s five reasons to consider joining us this September.
1. There is still time
If you’re considering a college course this academic year but haven’t applied yet then there is still time to join us on one of our many Further Education courses. Browse our courses on our website, apply online and attend a drop in enrolment session like the one we are holding at Basford on the 7th September.
2. Don’t know what to study or haven’t got the grades? We can help!
If you’re not sure what you would like to apply for, don’t think you have the grades to join us or need to retake a course alongside your studies then we can help. Our staff will be on hand at drop-in enrolment sessions to advise you on the best course level for your circumstances.
3. So much choice
We are the largest Further Education provider in Nottingham and have the widest range of courses in the region. From academic qualifications such as A Levels to vocational qualifications which can guide you straight to your chosen career path – we are bound to have a course to suit you.
4. Fantastic facilities
All of our vocational courses offer real world hands-on experience utilising industry standard facilities. From salons and restaurants which are open to paying members of the public, to our very own airline cabin, science and engineering workshops, libraries, construction centres, performing arts studios and much more; our students are gaining the hands-on experience employers are looking for right from the very start of their course.
5. Supportive learning environment
Our dedicated Wellbeing Team, Achievement Coaches, Careers Advisers and Tutors are all here to help and support you to succeed. Every year we help more than 34,000 students gain life changing skills and qualifications, and progress into Higher Education or employment.
Search for a course, apply online and attend one of our drop in enrollment sessions- if you’re not sure what you’d like to study or need advice on entry requirements then still come along to a drop in session where staff will be on hand to help.
