Our High Pavement Sixth Form student Odila Sika was offered a prize that money can’t buy recently, when she won a College competition to take part in a celebrity charity football match in London.

Odila not only attended the match but also got ten minutes on the pitch with a range of celebrities including James Arthur, Shayne Ward and the band Rudimental.

The match was held in May at Loftus Road, home to QPR FC. The event was run in collaboration with the Lucy Rayner Foundation, a charity that raises awareness and provides support for young adults with mental health challenges.

The day was incredible, the stadium was beautiful and we managed to take so many pictures!

Odila also met some of the members of Rudimental!

The shirts worn during the Sellebrity Soccer match were sponsored by Michael Wisher Associates, an event recruitment business that offers casual work across the UK at high profile venues and events.
