Our Open Events are a fantastic way to find out more about what’s on offer at Nottingham College and we recently held an adult education information event aimed at those aged 19+ looking to find out more about what we have on offer.

No matter your aim or goal we have flexible study options to suit you. Whether you want to try something new – like learning a hobby or trying something for fun, gain a Maths or English qualification or up-skill for your professional development, we have lots of options.
There are a few ways you may be eligible to study for free and there is a range of eligibility criteria for fee remission.
If you do not currently hold a Level 2 qualification in English or maths (GCSE or equivalent) then you can study these for free.
If you are over the age of 19 and do not hold a full Level 3 qualification (equivalent to at least two A Levels, or a Level 3 vocational qualification) you can now access free training for a range of in-demand skills.
Yes! We offer a range of English and Maths qualifications for adults. If you do not currently hold an English or Maths qualification (or have below a GCSE grade D/3 then you can study them for free).
Yes! Our ESOL courses will help you improve your English language skills to support you in your daily life.
Yes! We offer lots of online and distance learning courses and qualifications for adults aged 19+ which allow you to study online in the comfort of your own home or from your workplace.
Yes, we offer lots of courses which are a fun way to learn something new or enhance your existing skills. Popular areas include catering and hospitality (exploring areas such as cake decorating, baking, mixology, barista skills and much more), sports (coaching, injury prevention and rehabilitation), hair and beauty (styling, nail extensions, Swedish massage, Indian Head Massage, and much more), art and design (ceramics, upcycling, textiles, painting and drawing). Many of these courses are taught at community venues.
Yes! We offer a range of Access Courses especially designed for adults who want to progress onto a university course. Access courses are a fast-track route to degree-level study and are tailored to specific careers like law or nursing, or cover broader areas including science, social sciences, and business.
Yes! Hundreds of students choose to study a degree-level course with us. We offer flexible ways of learning on a full or part-time basis with Foundation Degrees, BA (Hons) Top-ups, and HNC / HND programmes available in 16 subject areas.
