News: College Fast Track Academy welcomes first racket member

Please note: This news story may contain information that is no longer current or up to date.

We are delighted to announce that our Fast Track Sports Academy has secured another exciting partnership, this time with Trent Vale Squash Club.

The Club, formerly known as the Siemens Squash Club, initially named the Plessey Squash Club, is located on South Road in Beeston, Nottingham. The Club has active internal leagues, weekly coaching sessions, regular friendly club nights, and it can be booked for one-off friendly games too. If you’re interested in joining the Club, or finding out more about squash or Trent Vale, then please see contact details below.

It is great news to welcome our first Fast Track racket member and hopefully this will be a good way for our learners to build up their knowledge of squash.

Julian Watson, Club Treasurer, said: Trent Vale Squash Club is excited to be working in collaboration with Nottingham College. As a community-based squash club, we are delighted to open our doors to new members from Nottingham College and help to introduce squash to a new generation.

With coaching available, internal leagues and club nights there will definitely be something for everyone — from complete beginners to experienced players. Many members only use the club to play friendlies with their friends and colleagues, and this is also encouraged.

Trent Vale Squash Club is confident that working with Nottingham College will bring benefits to all involved.”

Trent Vale Squash Club is a great addition to the Fast Track Academy, a club which has got opportunities to get involved in a new sport recreationally, as well as voluntary opportunities once the partnership is developed.

When speaking to the Club, they were excited to open their doors to our students, which will provide a long-term partnership with years to come and progress through the different memberships.
