News: Fletchers Restaurant launches in successful style

Fletchers Restaurant is one of the newest dining options in Nottingham and our very own commercial dining experience located inside the City Hub. Last week the restaurant opened to a sold out opening gala launch evening. We are thrilled that we can finally provide our hospitality and catering students with some much welcomed ​‘real working environment’ experience, after many months studying online. 

Fletchers will strive to offer today’s quality dining experience with tomorrow’s future stars. Staffed by students supervised by industry professionals. Longer term, the vision for Fletchers incorporates dining, theatre and events as a whole experience and will be marketed as a destination to enjoy all three offers when the theatre opens in late autumn 2021. 

Fletchers offering a regular lunchtime service served on a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday between 12pm and 1.30pm where the menu on offer is one course for £8.95, two courses for £10.95 or three courses for a very affordable £12.95.

In the evenings, the restaurant will currently be open Wednesday and Thursday evenings and will host special menus until they close for the summer. These can be five course extravaganzas with the their famous take-over evenings or specially themed evenings focusing on local ingredients. Some of these distinctive evenings are hosted with our alumni, who now own their own eateries and businesses or have appeared on shows like MasterChef The Professionals. These alumni return to work with our students to research, prepare and serve unique menus at fantastic prices that you will not experience anywhere else.

We are incredibly excited about moving to our new home at the City Hub to continue providing a vital ​‘realistic working environment’ in which our students can continue to learn and apply their skills to the highest standards to eventually embark on successful careers in the catering industry – which of course being one of the biggest and most valuable sectors of the economy in Nottingham. 

Many of our alumni cherished their time with us and often return to share their knowledge, skills, and experience to help inspire and develop the stars of the future with special menus.. After a challenging year for everyone — especially our students having their valuable study and restaurant experience disrupted we are delighted to have finally be opening the doors to our wonderful customers who continue to support us, we can’t wait to serve you!
