Nottingham College and our new Fast Track Sports Academy are delighted to announce an exciting partnership with the Nottingham Outlaws Rugby League Football team.

The Nottingham Outlaws are one of the leading Rugby League clubs in the Midlands. In addition to the 1st Team, the Outlaws also operate a 2nd Team that competes in the Midlands Rugby League competition.

The club is thriving at all levels and now boasts over 200 registered players. There are also several junior teams and a women’s section in the Nottingham Outlaws.

The Nottingham College Fast Track Academy

Nottingham College recently launched this new Fast Track Academy. It’s designed to help Sport students explore the full range of sports careers and to connect them to teams, clubs and individuals who are making their mark in the sports industry locally and regionally.

Together, and through our Fast Track Academy, we are able to offer Sport students a full range of experiences in different sports.

There are different membership levels for organisations (bronze, silver and gold). These are all designed to link up our students with the sporting industry.

Nottingham Outlaws is a great addition to our bronze membership, with clear potential to grow into silver status and eventually leading to a gold membership partnership with an elite player/coach/official and sports performance academy.

The club has great ambitions that matches the Fast Track ethos and we are delighted to be able to confirm this partnership.

Gary Horsley — Nottingham College Fast Track Academy Director

The mission, vision and values of Nottingham Outlaws will develop our students into Rugby League and give them a brilliant insight into the sport and how the club operates.

Rugby League is growing across the Midlands, and we are excited about where this partnership can take us.

More about Nottingham Outlaws

Nottingham Outlaws RLFC were founded in 1999 when members of the Nottingham Crusaders and former players from Nottingham Trent University decided to explore the possibility of playing in the emerging Rugby League Conference. The club then joined the Northern Division of the Rugby League Conference in the year 2000, playing in club colours taken from Nottingham Trent University.
