News: Your Journey Starts Here

Please note: This news story may contain information that is no longer current or up to date.

Applications to join us this September are now open. If you’re leaving school this year and haven’t yet thought about your post 16 options, you may be surprised at just how much choice there is (and at Nottingham College we have the widest range of options for school leavers in the region).

Your journey to becoming a Nottingham College student starts with researching your options!

We have lots of courses available, from A Levels at our High Pavement Sixth form to a wealth of career focused vocational courses ranging from level 1 to level 3. Whatever you choose, we will help you become Future Ready to open the doors to your future.

If you’re a parent wanting to find out more about the options available to your teenager, we have virtual information events taking place this April. Book your place here….

Earlier this year we held a series of Virtual Open Evenings. Open events are a fantastic way to find out more about specific courses, have your questions answered or get a general overview of college life. If you missed them don’t worry! You can register to receive all the information, presentations and recordings on our Virtual Open Evening web pages. Once we have your details we’ll send all the info you need straight to your inbox!

Apply Online

Once you’ve decided what you’d like to study you can apply online.

If you’re not entirely sure then don’t worry – you can apply for up to three options and decide nearer the time.

If you’d like to discuss your options with someone then our friendly Careers Team are here to help. You can book an appointment with them by calling us on 0115 9100 100 or sending an email to careersteam@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk

When you apply you will need to create an account with us. Keep your log in details safe as you’ll need to access your account to check the status of your application.

Conditional Offer

You’ll need to achieve certain grades in your exams and/or assessments. These conditions will be explained in your offer email and you can also find out more about specific entry requirements on our course pages.

Attend a Get Ready for College summer event

Unfortunately we have been unable to deliver our usual programme of welcome events for 2021 , however if you have applied to the college for this September please check your student account for the latest information regarding enrolling onto your course.

Your Enrolment Invitation

Your invitation to enrol will be sent to your personal email address. Don’t forget to check your emails throughout the summer to get the latest information from the college and make sure your most up to date contact details are saved in your college account.

Enrolment

Enrolment will take place between July and early September and you will be sent an invitation to attend via your personal email address. Enrolment will take place either online or in person and is a chance to confirm your course choices, discuss entry requirements and clarify any queries you may have.

Enrolment is also where you are able to apply for financial support and complete any initial assessments required by your course area. Once everything has been completed you will receive your timetable.

Your induction

Once you have enrolled you will be invited into your campus for your induction. This will take place in September and you will also be able to collect your student ID card at the same time.

Congratulations, you’re officially a Nottingham College Student!

Work hard, attend all your classes and be the best student you can be!
