How to Apply to Nottingham College

Step 1: Find a course

The best way to apply to Nottingham College is online. Go to our apply section to start your application.

Follow the instructions on the screen and choose the course you want to study.

Create an account. Make a note of your username as this will be generated for you. (We will contact you during the summer so don’t use your school email). Make sure you write down your password so you can access your account

It should take around 20 mins from start to finish to complete your application!

Once you have completed all the information you will receive a confirmation that we have received your application.

You can check the status of your application at anytime you just need to log onto your account.

Don’t forget you can apply to more than one place and you can apply for more than one course.

Haven’t decided what course you want to study? No problem. You can browse our full list of courses we offer to find the right course for you

Step 2: Conditional Offer and ‘Meet Your Course Lecturer’

You will be automatically offered a conditional place at Nottingham College.

Most courses at Nottingham College do not require a formal interview but they do require you to come onto campus and meet your course lecturer. If your course requires you to come onto campus, you’ll be contacted to arrange an appointment once you’ve applied.

Meet Your Course Lecturer’ is your opportunity to find out more about the College and your chosen course, meet the people who will be teaching and guiding you at College and even get to meet other students who will be part of your course in September!

You can book your Meet Your Course Lecturer’ through the account that you have created as part of the application process.

The grades you receive over the summer, coupled with your Meet Your Course Lecturer’ you will take part in, as part of your college enrolment process, will firm up your offer and make sure you join the right course, at the right level for you, at this time.

Step 3: Enrolment

You will be invited to enrol onto your course towards the end of summer, after you receive your GCSE results at the end of August.

We will contact you during the summer holidays with a specific date and time during our enrolment period so you are ready to start your course with us in September.

If you need to make any changes or updates to your application contact FEAdmissions@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk.

The college will be in touch to invite you to any events for your course, and enrolment events – it is important that your personal details are up-to-date and accurate and you check your email inbox regularly.
