Application guidance Apply for this job roleA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Technician to join Nottingham College
As part of the Health and Safety team, you will be based at the Adams building in Nottingham City Centre. As part of the role, you will be integral in conducting surveys and audits across Nottingham College sites as instructed by the Health & Safety Manager. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating an array of Health and Safety data from the risk assessment register to first aid provision.
We are looking for someone who is able to work as part of a busy and responsive Health & Safety team whilst also being able to work on your own using your own initiative.
Good knowledge and practical experience of word processing, databases, spreadsheets, outlook and experience of the internet is essential as is a proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and contractors to provide an excellent service.
In addition to this, it is essential that you are able to work well with a diverse range of people and customers and that you have excellent organisational skills.
