An opportunity has arisen within the Construction Faculty for an experienced Carpentry & Joinery tutor who is able to:

• To contribute to and participate in quality assurance initiatives as appropriate, which will include classroom observation activities.

In this role, you will lecture and assess on a range of Carpentry & Joinery qualifications to both full time and apprentice students. Our provision in this area ranges from Level 1 to Level 3 so you will need to possess skills to deliver across these courses/levels.

You should have relevant educational/training experience in addition to proven site, domestic, commercial or industrial experience. You also need to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to teaching, learning and assessment.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant Carpentry & Joinery qualification (either NVQ level 2/3 or other equivalent Level 2/3 qualification).
