Accountant Apprentice
Job description
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the main purpose of this new role is initially to assist with the head of finance with transactional type finance tasks but to develop into a more senior role (Management Accountant /Assistant Management Accountant) within the department over time and in line with an agreed training plan.

Duties will include:
- Process purchase ledger invoices in a timely manner on Datafile in line with the agreed processes.
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
- Daily bank reconciliations.
- Post manual payments to datafile.
- Post general ledger journals.
- Holiday cover for SL / PL.
- Maintain / police site cost logs.
- Expense payments and credit card reconciliations.
- Ad hoc analysis.

The candidate will attend work for 4 days of the week and then attend college every Friday. The college day will take place at Nottingham College City Hub Campus.
Potential opportunity for a permanent role within the company following successful completion of the apprenticeship.
