Accounts Administration Apprentice

Job description

Jigsaw24 are recruiting! This a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice to join a supportive and growing employer. Ensuring that their customers receive an insanely great customer experience is incredibly important to Jigsaw 24 therefore their administration is key to this.

KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Working with both the Credit Control department, as well as the Accounts payable Department, providing admin support for a variety of tasks.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tasks will differ from day to day, work will be split between both sides of the Accounts department to provide a rounded view of the process, below is an example of the types of tasks you'll be asked to support:

  • Credit control downloading and coding remittance advices
  • Updating our CRM system with confirmation of receipt
  • Updating the promise to pay report
  • Support with processing payments into our CRM system
  • Providing support with customer requests
  • Accounts payable downloading invoices and credit notes
  • Updating our CRM system with confirmation of receipt
  • Digital filing of documents, pending processing
  • Support with processing Invoices
  • Emailing out the daily indication rates
  • This includes maintaining a daily spreadsheet
  • General accounts admin based tasks
  • Digital archiving
  • Opening and sorting the post
  • Scanning any required documents
  • Any other necessary tasks

Skills required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Keen attention to detail, observation is crutial
  • Proficient IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly. MS Office (Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge with regards to processes
  • The ability to work in a busy and pressurised environment

Qualifications required

A*-C/9-4 in maths and English or equivalent at GCSE desirable but not essential.
