Bexons Accountants Ltd are looking to recruit a proactive individual to join their team of accountants based in West Bridgford. The role will include learning all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping as well as general admin duties.
A fantastic opportunity for any candidate wishing to embark on a career in accounting. Shadowing the Employer the candidate will start carrying out basic accounting functions such as:
- Raising invoices
- Inputting invoices
- Purchase ledger tasks
- Basic bookkeeping and VAT compliance
- Data entry
- Maintaining client records and adding additional to company systems through data entry
Additional admin roles to include:
- Responsible for answering the phone
- General office admin
- Stationary order
- Shopping order
- Postal duties

This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employer’s address. Depending on your training you will only need to attend college in Nottingham for initial assessments, enrolment and a few other rare occasions.
Candidate must be available to start as soon as possible. Candidate must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours.
Apprenticeship in Accounting with AAT Level 2
- Basic Accounting 1
- Basic Accounting 2
- Basic Costing
- Working Effectively in Accounting
- Computerised Accounting (Using Sage)
- Functional skills in maths and English (if required)
You will be expected to attend College one day per week as part of your apprenticeship.
