Job description

Ellis Guilford School are looking for an enthusiastic Business Administrator to join the team to support their SEND Teaching and Learning department, Attendance and support in reprographics. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to embark on a career in administration and wishes to enjoy career progression.

To support the SENDCO, Assistant Principal (AP) for Teaching & Learning (T&L), Attendance Team and Senior ICT

Technician to provide an effective administrative support & reprographics service to the school.


Provide general day to day administrative and clerical support to the SENDCO and AP for Teaching & Learning

  • Support the SENDCO and AP with diary/calendar management.
  • Production of, letters and other documents which are accurate and professionally presented.
  • Provide administration for all paperwork related to and ensure any documents/records shared externally meet data protection requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, including diary management and the preparation of agendas and undertaking/producing the minutes of meetings as required.
  • — Manage & track the distribution of chrome books
  • Support the Teaching & Learning Lead in the tracking of homework and curriculum implementation admin.
  • Support the AP for T&L with pupil and parent login enquiries, Teams and Chromebooks.
  • Provide support to the Attendance Team as and when required.
  • Photocopying and printing
  • Laminating

  • Comb and spiral binding
  • Cutting card/paper
  • Assist with maintenance of printers around the school (ensuring they all have paper stock, are all in working order etc.)
  • Manage stock of reprographic materials — Set up AV equipment/resources for morning assemblies (i.e., laptop, projector, microphone)
  • Assist with taking photographs/videos at school events
  • Creating/formatting documentation
  • Assist in the production of posters/display materials/graphic design
  • Assist with digital media and uploading of content to the school system, digital signage system and website
  • Technical support for school productions and events
