Job description

Duties will include:

  • Maintain and comply with H&S policy
  • Assist in monitoring quality and advise Management of any failure to meet TCS product quality standards
  • Follow TCS procedures & recipes to produce finished product
  • Communicate with customers & management to prepare and decorate custom product as required, including but not limited to wedding cakes
  • Work within a team to ensure product demands are met within specified timelines
  • Work independently as directed to complete individual tasks/production
  • Work within the retail environment to meet the demands of our customer base
  • Manage and apply creativity, communicating within the team to develop new and innovative product
  • Undertake other tasks as directed by the Bakery Manager from time to time

Candidate requirements

Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours on advert will be amended accordingly to fall in line with the legislation.

This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employers address. Depending on your training you will only need to attend college in Nottingham for initial assessments, enrolment and a few other rare occasions.

The Cheesecake Shop was founded by brothers Warwick and Robert Konopacki in 1991. From humble beginnings in the back blocks of Sydney’s inner western suburb of Rozelle, the brothers Konopacki baked delicious cakes fashioned from’ Mamuska’, their Polish mother’s, traditional recipes. Robert had entrepreneurial flair and experience in food while Warwick, a clinical psychologist by trade, brought a strong analytical mind that helped design and document the recipes and procedures.
