Job description
Cranham Leisure Sales Ltd are offering a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice technician to work with an independent, customer orientated, family-run business established since 1984. Who offer a friendly and professional service in the buying and selling of new as well as used caravans and motorhomes.
Duties will include:
- Servicing the caravans and motorhomes
- Internal and external repairs
- Interior fittings
- Accessory fittings
- Gas and electrical testing
- Damp testing
- Habitation checks
- Insurance work
- Damp repairs

A*-D/9-3 GCSE in maths and English (or equivalent).
Candidate requirements
Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours on advert will be amended accordingly to fall in line with the legislation.

This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employers address. Depending on your training you will only need to attend college in Nottingham for initial assessments, enrolment and a few other rare occasions.
Training provided
Intermediate Apprenticeship in Caravan and Motorhome Maintenance and Repair.
- Autocare Technician Level 2
- Level 2 Diploma in Caravan and Motorhome Maintenance and repair
- Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS)
- Functional Skills Level 1 (if required)
Off the job, training in college will be via separate block weeks of training in Nottingham throughout the course of the programme.
Future progression
Possible permanent position on the completion of the apprenticeship.
