GT Towing are offering a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice technician to join their busy workshop learning how to maintain and repair Caravans and Motorhomes.
Duties would include:
- Servicing the caravans
- Internal and external repairs
- Interior fittings
- Accessory fittings
- Gas and electrical testing
- Damp testing
- Habitation checks
- Insurance work
- Damp repairs

4 GCSEs at A* - D/9-3 in maths/English (or equivalent) essential including English Language, maths and ICT.
The candidate must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours. Candidates must be willing to travel to the EMTEC training centre in Ruddington, Nottingham to complete the block release training.

Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours on advert will be amended accordingly to fall in line with the legislation.

This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employer's address.
Intermediate Apprenticeship in Caravan and Motorhome Maintenance and Repair.
- IMIAL Level 2 Diploma in Caravan & Motorhome Maintenance & Repair (QCF)
- Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS) Functional Skills Level 1 (if required)
Off the job training in college will be via seven separate block weeks of training in Nottingham throughout the course of the programme.
Upon successful completion and review of the level 2 apprenticeship the post holder will progress to a level 3 apprenticeship.
