Apprentice Caravan and Motorhome Technician

Job description

We are looking for a Caravan and Motorhome Maintenance and Repair Apprentice to join our busy team, learning and developing their skills through on-the-job training alongside block release training where you will further your learning journey with focused development alongside industry experts.

Camper UK are looking for an Apprentice Motor Vehicle technician to join our rapidly expanding team. Learning and developing their skills through on-the-job training alongside day release training at college where you will further your learning journey with focused development alongside industry experts. This apprenticeship will equip you with the highest level of skill and practical ability within the commercial motor vehicle industry, providing you a solid foundation on which to build a successful and fulfilling career. This is a fantastic opportunity to work towards a recognised qualification as a Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) at an employer boasting main dealer status.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Servicing motorhomes and caravans
  • Internal and external repairs
  • Interior fittings
  • Accessory fittings
  • Gas and electrical testing
  • Damp testing
  • Habitation checks
  • Insurance work

Qualifications required

GCSE English and maths Grade 9-3/A*-C or equivalent.

Training provided

Intermediate Motor vehicle service and maintenance technician (light vehicle) Standard.

IMI Level 2 Diploma in Caravan and Motorhome Maintenance and Repair and level 2 customer service.

Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS).

Functional Skills Level 1 (if required).

Off the job, training in college will be via separate block weeks of training in Nottingham throughout the course of the programme.
