Cougar Extreme are looking for a hard-working individual to assemble and repair computers and deal with customer service enquires.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, confident and be able to work using their initiative, ensuring professionalism at all times to deliver excellent customer service.
Main duties include:
- Dealing with enquires, offering advice and customer service
- Logging jobs
- Learning and implementing diagnostic techniques
- Repairing and building PCs/laptops/MACs
- Servicing computers
- Software installation
- Building computers from scratch
- Upgrading existing customer computers
- Quoting repairs and new builds
- Dealing with data backups and system restores

English, maths, IT Grade C/D-3/4 or above (or equivalent) desirable but not essential. Candidate will be required to meet minimum levels of requirement through computer based assessments.

Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours on advert will be amended accordingly to fall in line with the legislation.

This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employers address. Depending on your training you will only need to attend college in Nottingham for initial assessments, enrolment and a few other rare occasions.
Candidate must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours.
Intermediate Apprenticeship in Information and Communications Technology - 12 months.
- Diploma in ICT Professional Competence - Level 2
- Award in ICT Systems and Principles - Level 2
- Functional Skills English, maths and ICT Level 1
This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore you will be working at the employer’s address four days per week. Depending on your training you will need to attend Nottingham College one day per week.
Potential for full time employment with the company on completion of the apprenticeship.
