Job description

The role is split with some work on the œtools and some administrative work, the candidate would be supervised and assisted by an engineer. This is a good opportunity for a candidate to learn how to become a complete engineer. They will learn about systems as well as how to conduct repairs.

Our current engineers have a wealth of experience and will be retiring soon/ working less days offering an opportunity for a permanent job role with better salary. Job role Organize and order spare parts Track breakdown trends of machines Attend engineer meetings Process engineer reports Assist engineers with PPM Attend breakdowns with engineers this would include changing parts, motors, bearings etc Asist with GMP repairs

Skills required

- Organised and friendly candidate - Experience with engineering equipment desired but not essential

Qualifications required

A minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A* - C (9-4) including Maths and English (or equivalent)

Training provided

The Apprenticeship programme will be over an initial 18 month period. Qualification obtained will be L2 Engineering Operative - Maintenance Standard. Training to be provided will include: Day release at Nottingham College, Highfields Centre

Potential for a full time position on completion of apprenticeship
