Are you interested in gaming and technology? Then look no further. Cash Generator are looking to recruit a sales assistant to their busy shop based in the city centre of Nottingham.

Are you interested in gaming and technology? Then look no further. Cash Generator are looking to recruit a sales assistant to their busy shop based in the city centre of Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be given training and support in order to gain the skills required to meet a customer's needs within a busy retail environment. Duties include the testing and preparation of second-hand products for resale to the general public, merchandising products on the shop floor and general housekeeping duties within the store. Duties will also include manual lifting, for which manual handling training will also be provided. Experience and skills:

  • Interest in gaming or technology
  • Ability to learn and develop sales skills
  • Comfortable working with members of the public
  • Must be helpful and polite
  • Able to work as part of a sales team

Skills required

  • The post holder will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and team working skills
  • They will have a good general knowledge of ICT packages and demonstrate a good level of spoken and written literacy

Qualifications required

  • A*-D/9-3 maths and English at GCSE or equivalent desirable but not essential

Candidate requirements

Candidate must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours, and to the college for day release.

Training provided

  • Customer Service Standard Level 2 - 15 months
  • Level 2 in Customer Service
  • Functional Skills English, maths and ICT Level 1 or 2 if required
  • This apprenticeship is 1 day every week at the college 9am - 5pm with the other days based at the workplace

Future progression

Potential opportunity for a permanent role within the company following successful completion of the apprenticeship.
