Apprentice Service and Parts Adviser

Job description

As a parts advisor you will become an integral part of the customer service team by helping our customers improve or fix their caravans and or motorhomes by giving advice and guidance. You will also manage the order preparation by picking parts for customers’ orders and checking availability of stock.

Kimberley Caravan Centre are currently seeking a Service and Parts Advisor Apprentice to join their business based in Kimberley Nottingham. This is an exciting role working towards a level 2/3 Customer Service qualification which also offers first class training and outstanding long term career prospects with the business. The comprehensive programme provides you with an exciting and challenging opportunity to achieve formal qualifications through extensive product training as well as building up confidence and gaining valuable work experience whilst undertaking the role:

Duties will include:

  • Taking orders from customers face to face, over the phone or via email
  • Maintain an ordered stock room and find parts from stock
  • Raise invoices
  • Liaise with members of staff
  • Customers may include members of the public, service departments of dealerships and garages
  • Advice on accessories and modifications
  • Warranty claims and returns

Candidate requirements

Candidate must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours.

Training provided

Intermediate Apprenticeship in Caravan and Motorhome Maintenance and Repair.

Customer Service Level 2 /3.

Functional Skills Level 1 (if required).

Off the job, training in college will be via separate block weeks of training in Nottingham throughout the course of the programme.

Future progression

Possible permanent position on the completion of the apprenticeship.
