Yorkshire Coast Caravans are looking for a Caravan and Motorhome Maintenance and Repair Apprentice to join their busy team. Learning and developing your skills through on-the-job training, alongside block release training, you will further your learning journey with focused development alongside industry experts.
As the leading touring caravan retailer on the Yorkshire Coast, Yorkshire Coast Caravans are looking to recruit a motivated and responsible individual to enhance our busy service and repair department. The business includes caravan sales, motorhome hire, accessory shop and a thriving service department.
As main Bailey, Coachman and Swift dealership we are looking for positive people with a 'can do attitude'. Full training and support will be provided through a combination of 'on the job' and external courses to develop skills and knowledge.
No previous caravan experience is necessary, more importantly the willingness to learn and develop new skills. This role would also suit an individual with good DIY skills looking to retrain or change career.
The role is varied and duties include:
- Caravan servicing
- Fitting accessories such as motor movers
- Adjusting furniture
- Internal bodywork repairs and work the gas/electrics
- Servicing motorhomes and caravans
- Internal and external repairs
- Interior fittings
- Accessory fittings
- Gas and electrical testing
- Damp testing
- Habitation checks
- Insurance work

With their fully trained City & Guilds accredited Service Technicians, they are equipped to deal with all major and minor repairs and caravan and motorhome servicing.
