A vacancy has arisen for a Customer Service Apprentice in our busy glass merchanting site on Victoria Business Park, Nottingham. The role will report direct to the Customer Services Manager.
The main purpose of the role is to be the customer's first point of contact at the Nottingham branch, providing a first-class level of customer service and customer satisfaction that is considered 'Best In Glass'. The successful candidate will actively contribute towards achieving departmental and business objectives as part of the Pilkington Nottingham team.
Training will be provided for all tasks:
- To provide estimates for stock/cut/fire products & processed glass
- Work with company's ALCIB sales system
- Make amendments to customer price rates
- SAP system - raise purchase orders, blocked invoices, booking in goods
- General office duties, including answering phone calls and emails

- Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard
- Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
To undertake a Level 3 qualification with possible future progression to the position of Customer Service Representative.
