West Bridgford Post Office is offering a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious apprentice to flourish within their shop. This is an exciting and varied role for a candidate to join a small but busy team. You will be a pivotal member of the team gaining skills and qualifications to develop in key administration duties.
The day to day duties involved in the administration role will include:
- Performing cashier duties
- Selling the post offices services to customers
- Sorting incoming and outgoing mail
- Processing licenses such as motor vehicle and fishing
- Banking duties
- Processing customer cash deposits and withdrawals
- Managing the shop (training will be provided)
- Understanding and using systems such as Money Gram
- Undertake any other duties as may be required to assist in the running of the shop
