Information for applicants

Apply01

The College’s normal application process has changed, in line with Coronavirus developments. If you applied to us pre-December, it’s likely that you would have been asked to attend a Meet the Team event at one of our college campuses. This would have given you the chance to meet the tutor, talk to them about your aspirations and for the tutor to show you a bit more about the course, what it offers and what it entails. Unfortunately, all Meet the Team events have been cancelled for the time being.

If you have applied recently, or are planning to apply, you will not be invited to a Meet the Team event. Instead you will be automatically offered a conditional place at Nottingham College. This should offer you peace of mind that your place at College is safe. The grades you receive over the summer, coupled with an assessment you will take part in, as part of your college enrolment process, will firm up your offer and make sure you join the right course, at the right level for you, at this time. We will support you through this process. We want you to feel at home at college, safe, secure and supported.

Staying safe

The Government has issued some very clear advice on how to keep safe.

Keep focussed

Studying from home, without your teachers in front of you and friends around you, can be really tough. It’s very different from what you’ve been used to.
