Information for apprentices and their employers

The College has put robust COVID-19 secure plans in place across our campuses to keep students and staff safe. — Find out more

Nottingham College’s apprenticeship recruitment team continues to operate remotely to support businesses and their recruitment needs. These are very challenging circumstances for everyone and the team is available to answer any questions.

Our team is now fully set up to work from home. We are still registering potential apprentices and matching candidates to business needs. We are able to complete a full interview, issue advice and guidance to all learners and ensure that all candidates still undertake assessments in English, Maths and ICT before they are shortlisted for roles.

If you are a current apprentice, you should now have resources to enable you to study remotely at home. Most of our apprentices have been furloughed or being paid to work from home and our assessors are setting them work to do. In some cases, some of our apprentices are remaining at work as essential workers but we have ceased onsite assessor visits until further notice. Assessment is taking place virtually.

We are working with employers to support whatever circumstances they are operating in.
