Accessing online resources

Online Resources Hero

To help you with your studies, teaching and learning resources are now available on our online learning portal called Interact.

Teachers are sharing learning resources and activities on Interact for each of your subjects/sessions. You can access, for example, PowerPoint presentations, case studies, reading materials, video clips, etc.

Your subject tutor will keep in touch with you to let you know what work is available, what needs to be completed, and to provide guidance, support and feedback. If you are on a full-time programme, your Personal Tutor will also contact you on a weekly basis to give you feedback and guidance on your progress overall, considering the progress that you are making in your online activities and course assessments.

There may be activities to participate in through the ‘assignment’ feature of Interact, e.g. a quiz or a worksheet activity.

There may also be a ‘forum’ on the course page to enable you to collaborate with your teacher and your fellow students, to discuss the materials, or to support each other with activities that you are currently working on.

You can also contact your teacher via the ‘messaging’ function of Interact, which is on the right-hand side of the screen.

if you need help finding out how to access the learning tools on Interact, you can watch this this how-to video.

If you prefer to read the instructions, there is also a handy written guide (see pages 2 and 3 of the guide).

If you experience any difficulties logging in or engaging in learning on Interact, please email systemssupportenquiries@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk and a member of staff will be able to support you. This email should only be used if you experience difficulties in accessing the materials on Interact. If you have any questions regarding the materials, please contact your subject tutor.

You may also be using Microsoft Teams and you can access a Quick Start Guide here.
