The situation and the advice offered changes regularly. The latest advice states that anyone who develops a persistent cough, fever above 37.8 or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia) must stay at home. Importantly, anyone you live with must also stay at home for 14 days. This involves avoiding leaving the house. If you do leave the house, for any urgent reason, you must try to keep your distance from others.
Students who display the above symptoms must report their absence using the absence reporting procedures available to them. This is so that we can establish an accurate picture for the College.
Please visit NHS.UK/coronavirus for information about the virus and how to protect yourself.
The online NHS COVID-19 service is able to give anyone with symptoms, connection with positive cases or have returned from travelling abroad an answer as to whether to self-isolate.
