Social distancing does not mean that you can’t do any exercise. In fact the Government and health advisors are promoting the importance of exercise during this time.
Make sure you try and get out of the house, when you can, during the day or in the evening. The Government advises one form of outdoor exercise during the day, such as a walk or run, as long as you keep your distance from others. That doesn’t mean that you can’t use your garden, if you have one, or take regular breaks in the day to do house-based exercise. Use YouTube to do some regular at-home workouts, yoga and mindfulness activity to keep physically active and mentally grounded.
There are loads of resources out there. Make it part of your routine and have some fun. Exercise is great for your mental health and fresh air, if you can get it in your garden, will feel amazing!
