Animal Care (Animal Science) Level 2

If you are passionate about the welfare of animals and would love to work with them as part of your career, this course is for you.

You will learn about how to care for different types of hot and cold blooded creatures whilst gaining an understanding of key techniques for maintaining their wellbeing.

With further study, you could go on to become a veterinary nurse, animal carer, horse riding instructor, ranger or welfare assistant, so this qualification is a great start to your career.

You'll be supported by a great team of professional lecturers and there will be plenty of opportunties for visits including: Broomfield College, equine facilities and Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

An animal care worker can earn up to £20k a year in Nottingham and a veterinary nurse up to £24k.
