This course is perfect if you’re bike-mad and want to get a real qualification with real career prospects. You’ll get the technical knowledge needed in today’s motorcycle repair industry.

You will learn the technical requirements for today’s motorcycle repair industry. The course provides essential knowledge for service technicians working on motorcycles in all types of garages and workshops.

You can expect lots of hands-on experience and practice in our purpose built workshops at London Road.

Entry requirements

You’ll need 4 GCSE’s with minimum grade 3 in both Maths and English Language.

Teaching & assessment

The course assessment is made up of three elements:

  • Portfolio of Evidence in Skills
  • Knowledge of Practical Tasks
  • Online Testing
Progression

To progress onto the Level 2 in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair the year after, you will need to have improved your English and Maths grades to a 4 in both, achieved a merit overall and passed the progression assessment

Students aged 16-18 don't have to pay tuition fees.
