Perfect if you’re looking for a career-related (vocational) course that will equip you with the advanced skills and knowledge you’ll need to work in an office environment.

You’ll learn:

  • Supporting recruitment and selection procedures

You can expect helpful and experienced tutors with all with experience in industry and who will help you master the various skills needed to work in a business setting. You’ll carry out a range of college-based work assessments and assignments.

You’ll need 4 GCSEs at Grade 9-3/A*-D, including English Language and Maths – one of English Language or Maths must be grade 9-4/A*-C. Functional Skills Level 1 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 3/D and Functional Skills Level 2 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 4/C.

Progression

Choose to follow with further study at Nottingham College, an Apprenticeship in Business Administration or a career as an administrator, secretary, personal assistant (PA), administrative team leader or office manager.
