Earning a wage whilst also studying for a qualification, an Apprenticeship can give you access to a real working experience, whilst also supplying the support from both your employer and a team of professional assessors from Nottingham College.

Our level 2 General Construction Operations Intermediate Apprenticeship delivers theory & practical training for one of the following chosen construction areas:

  • Brickwork
  • Carpentry & Joinery
  • Electrical
  • Gas
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Plastering
  • Plumbing
  • Refrigeration
  • Wall & Floor Tiling

General Construction Operations - Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2


24 months

Level Level 2
Entry requirements


  • Be aged 16 or over
  • Have lived in the UK for the past three years
  • Be employed in the trade and work a minimum of 30 hours per week
Teaching & assessment

Students will be assigned to an assessor who will monitor their progress both in college and on site. All students are required to keep a portfolio of evidence generated in the workplace.
