Basic Introduction to Automotive — Part-time
Course outline
This is a ten week introduction to automotive maintenance where you can come along to our London Road site and build your confidence and knowledge around automotive components and repairs.
This is a great opportunity to try a short course before considering a full time study programme in this subject area or just a chance to gain some valuable insight into car maintenance.
The majority of time will be spent in practical sessions in our industry standard workshops, where you will cover health and safety requirements and carry out a range of tasks such as removing wheels and tyres, replacing brakes, bulbs and wipers, plus learning all about what is tested on a car during its MOT and lots more useful information that will provide either a step up to a full time course or just give you an opportunity to add to your knowledge and skills.
