Course outline

This is a follow on course for students who have attended the Sign Language for Beginners course.

On this course you will build on the skills learnt on the beginners course.

You will learn more signs and increase your vocabulary and practice your understanding and signing skills.

Entry requirements

You should have very basic Sign Language or completed the Introduction to Sign Language course.

Assessment

Tutors will give regular verbal and written feedback.

Progression

By attending the course you will have increased your knowledge, skills and understanding to help you move on and take up further opportunities open to you.

Your tutor will discuss progression opportunities with you at the final session as part of the course evaluation. These may include other community courses, employability skills courses, volunteering opportunities and progression onto other Nottingham College courses.
