If you’re looking for a successful career in business, this course provides the knowledge, understanding and skills required and is solid preparation for progression onto a top-up degree course.
You will study four modules per year including:

- Business placement (May to July)

- Managing in the digital economy

In addition you will choose to study 2 options from:
- Project management
- Marketing campaigns

- Entrepreneurship and enterprise development
A research project undertaken in the Business decision-making module, allows you to combine many of the skills you'll have developed to produce findings about a particular area of interest. This will help with your progression should you decide to top up to an honours degree.

Foundation Degree Business Management FdA
You will need a minimum of 56 UCAS points from:
At least two A Levels at A2
Other combinations of qualifications and experience will also be considered, as will Level 3 qualifications not currently listed on the UCAS tariff.
We would expect students to be working at (or to demonstrate competency at) Level 2 or above in English/literacy and maths/numeracy.
You may be invited to attend an interview.
Experienced mature applicants with relevant professional experience and/or qualifications are welcome to apply.
Each module is internally assessed through a variety of individual assignments, group assignments and exams.
There is a wide range of career opportunities available to you along with the chance to continue your studies to a higher level.
You may progress on to our BA (Hons) Business Studies Top-up Degree.
Alternatively, you may wish to move to a related honours degree or you could undertake further specialist study.
