This course is perfect if you wish to develop your basic collaging skills and interests further.
We will combine collage with other media and techniques to create images.
We can use drawing and painting materials such asL
- Pen and ink
- Coloured pencils
- Acrylic and watercolour with collage
- Simple printmaking methods like monoprinting.
Collages can be used to make collagraph prints too!
You will produce several finished pieces of work.
Subjects will include:
- Abstract work
We will look at the work of past and contemporary artists in collage.

Tutors will give regular verbal and written feedback. You will be required to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and encouraged to set your own personal targets as part of this course.
There may be opportunities to progress onto other courses both in the community and at Nottingham College sites.
The course tutor can discuss appropriate opportunities if you wish to further your learning in this subject area.
Materials will be discussed at the first session but please bring a glue stick e.g. Pritt Stick, a pair of scissors and an apron. The cost of materials is likely to be less than £10.
