Course outline
This is an informal introduction into complementary therapies, which is an ideal taster to develop and learn new skills with some simple tools to safely integrate the use of complementary therapies into your home life for personal use.
The course content will include information on:
- Simple massage techniques
- Aromatherapy essential oils
- Reflexology

Entry requirements | There are no formal entry requirements but you must be aged 19+. You will complete a health questionnaire. You will be required to complete a mandatory course workbook (Unique Learning Programme) each week, with the support of your course tutor. |
Teaching & assessment | Tutors will give regular verbal and written feedback. You will be required to complete a short workbook and encouraged to set your own personal targets as part of this course. |
Progression | The course tutor can discuss appropriate opportunities if you wish to further your learning in this subject area. Information will be made available about other courses at Nottingham College and you will have the opportunity to access external Careers Guidance to aid your next steps. |
