Discover the joy of crafting with our Saturday Introduction to Crafts Taster Course! Join us for hands-on sessions every weekend covering Mixed Media, Sewing, Paper Craft, Card Making, Decoupage, and Calligraphy.

If you’re looking for a part-time course that gives you skills you to add to your CV, enriches your social life, furthers an interest, or keeps your hand in with learning, then you’ve come to the right place!

This is a short taster programme will introduce you to a subject area. This would be a great starting point if you want to go on to study at a higher level or continue your interest.

You will learn about crafts for everyday life and independent living.

You will carry out a variety of different crafts that are tailored to your tastes and work to achieve competence of components in the course. You will be supported to produce a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your skills and achievements of the programme.

Activities include:

  • Mixed Media
  • Sewing
  • Paper craft
  • Card Making
  • Decoupage
  • Calligraphy

You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive group, with like-minded people and a helpful tutor.
