This course is perfect if you want to explore and enhance your creative media skills and knowledge.
You’ll learn the skills, qualities and knowledge that may be required for employment in a creative media production related career. These include:
- Developing creative media skills
- Audio production
- Editing
- Using the internet
- Graphic design
- Digital photography
You can expect to be involved in various projects using a wide range of different media and highly specialist equipment. The focus is on developing the essential elements in creative media production.

Entry requirements | You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grades 3–1 (D–G), including English Language and Maths at grades 3–1 (D–G), or a relevant Entry 3 vocational qualification and you will also be asked to sit an initial assessment. The initial assessment must show that you are ready to study English and maths at Level 1. If your results are lower than this, don't worry, we'll find the right course for you. |

Progression | Choose to follow with a Level 2 course in creative media production, employment in the creative media production sector or moving on to a related vocational (career-related) programme. |
