Dementia Awareness — Part-time

Course outline

Dementia affects so many of us whether personally or with friends and family members.

Supporting those with dementia can be incredibly difficult and upsetting.

This course is designed for those with family members or friends suffering with early or late onset dementia or who perhaps are supporting others dealing with dementia in the family.

We cover causes and symptoms, treatments and care plans and importantly we cover how to create loving, supportive and fulfilling and stimulating environments for those living with dementia. Crucially we’ll also discuss ways in which dementia can be avoided through lifestyle choices.
