If you are interested in how to become a DJ, then this course could be for you!
The course includes:
- What equipment a typical DJ uses and how we set it up
- How to build a set effectively using Rekordbox and how to export the set to be played out
- Basic beat matching and blending of same genre tracks and multi genre tracks.
- Introduction to effects, tricks and loops
- Recording mixes and effective promotion

Entry requirements | There are no formal entry requirements but a good standard of English is required. |
Teaching & assessment | Tutors will give regular verbal and written feedback. You will be required to complete an Individual learning plan (ILPs) encouraged to set your own personal targets as part of this course. |
Progression | There may be opportunities to progress onto other courses both in the community and at Nottingham College sites. The course tutor can discuss appropriate opportunities if you wish to further your learning in this subject area. |
