If you are looking to gain a qualification in engineering technical support and earn while you learn, this apprenticeship maybe for you!

This apprenticeship is suitable for the following roles:

  • Plater/Fabricator
  • Sheet Metal Worker
  • Welder

Training will be tailored around your role and responsibilities.

Engineering Manufacture - Fabrication and Welding - Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)

Entry requirements
  • You will need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in a relevant job but we can assist you in finding a placement.
  • You will also need 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C/9 to 4 or equivalent including English Language and Maths. Some employers may require additional qualifications depending on the role.

Adults who are aged 19+ with appropriate industry experience but without the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply.

All applicants will be required to undertake an assessment in English and maths prior to enrolling.

Assessment

You will be assessed in the workplace for your practical skills and will produce portfolios of evidence to show your understanding of the knowledge required.
