This course is suitable anyone wanting to further improve their English skills.

If English is not your first language this course is a great way to build your confidence further in reading, writing and speaking English making it easier to work and live in an English speaking environment. It will also make it easier to deal with everyday household letters and bills.

The class will be will be friendly, informal and fun.

Teaching & assessment

Tutors will give regular verbal and written feedback. You will complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and will be encouraged to set your own personal targets as part of this course.


You can progress onto part- and full-time English courses that are available at main Nottingham College centres.
