Course outline

This course is perfect if you have a creative side, enjoy working with people and are looking for an introduction into the Hair and Beauty industry.

You’ll learn about the importance of professionalism in a hair and beauty salon, as well as conducting practical treatments such as shampooing, plaiting, skin care and nail care.

You can expect lots of practical hands-on learning to ensure you master all the basics of the industry and do research into products and their ingredients.

This course will enable you to learn more about yourself, improve your self-confidence and resilience whilst developing your knowledge and skills in English and maths as well as the creative subjects that you enjoy.

You must be aged 16-18 to apply for this course.
