This course is designed for experienced gas engineers seeking to renew their ACS certification, specifically covering Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) and associated appliances or elements such as CENWAT (central heating boilers and water heaters), CKR1 (cookers), HTR1 (fires), and MET1 (meters). It provides a comprehensive refresher on current gas safety legislation, industry standards, and practical procedures. The training includes both theoretical instruction and hands-on assessment to ensure continued competence and compliance with Gas Safe Register requirements.
It is ideal for engineers whose ACS qualifications are due for renewal (5 yearly re-assessment), this course helps maintain professional certification and ensures safe, up-to-date working practices across domestic gas installations.
You will receive two days of update training prior to assessment, covering Core competencies (CCN1) and elements to maintain Gas Safe Registration.

You must have a valid and in date ACS Gas Competence Certificate.
You will undertake practical activities and written tests to assess competence.
