Course introduction

The CoNGLP1 assessment is designed for qualified gas engineers who wish to expand their scope of work to include Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) installations. This module is essential for those transitioning from natural gas competencies to LPG, enabling safe and compliant work across a broader range of domestic and commercial environments.

The Gas Safety Assessment covers the core competencies needed to obtain the Gas Safe certification for working with LPG on:

  • Permanent Dwellings (PD)
  • Residential Park Homes (RPH)
  • Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (LAV)

Course information

20 hours

You must have an in-date Core Gas Safety (CCN1) certificate and experience of working with LPG.

You will undertake practical activities and written tests to assess competence.
