Homework and Learning Skills – for Parents who Want to Help Their Children with Schoolwork - Part-time
Course outline
You will learn K2 (Key stage 2) terminology, a glossary or terms and spellings and develop your own English vocabulary to help your children.
You will also develop an understanding and clear overview of the topics your child is learning at school which will help you to understand what they are learning and enable you to help them with their schoolwork and homework. You will also learn helpful tips for learning and teaching at home which is ideal for lockdown or self-isolating situations.
You can expect to become more confident in helping your children with their schoolwork and homework, develop your language skills and overcome barriers such as understanding the vocabulary of KS2. You will follow the curriculum taught in schools.
